Investing in forests

In France, 75% of forestland is privately owned (13 million hectares), and nearly 200,000 ha change hands every year, creating real investment opportunities.
Kloros offers turnkey support: defining your project, sourcing forests, analysis, acquisition, and then managing the forest once purchased, to reconcile economic return and environmental impact.

Our principles

Close-to-nature, mixed, continuous cover Sylviculture forestry

Supporting natural processes

By relying on the natural regeneration of forests, we practice gentle, close-to-nature silviculture.

No monocultures, no clearcutting

We favor a diversity of tree species and maintain continuous forest cover in our forests.

Respecting biodiversity

By avoiding clearcutting and the use of chemicals, we maintain forest habitat for biodiversity.

Working with local companies

We work with companies located within 100 km of our forests for our forestry operations.

Optimizing carbon sequestration

By supporting tree growth, we optimize carbon sequestration in French forests.

Fighting imported deforestation

By supplying sustainably managed French timber to the domestic wood industry, we help fight imported deforestation.
