Cutting-edge silviculture

"Imitate nature, hasten its work" Lorentz and Parade

Kloros and Forestons! applies silviculture guided by Pro Silva principles: ● Promoting a diversity of tree species and ages in every parcel to ensure the resilience of a complex forest system facing climate risks.
● Supporting natural regeneration through continuous cover forestry and selective thinning.
● Protecting biodiversity, water, soil, and landscapes by avoiding clearcutting.
● Maximizing tree growth and quality while providing regular income (on average every 6 years per parcel).
This mixed continuous cover forestry aims to optimise forest ecosystems so that they fulfil their multiple socio-economic functions sustainably and profitably.
